Terms of service
Last updated: May 22, 2026
These terms govern your use of CragData (the API at https://api.cragdata.com/v1, the dashboard at https://cragdata.com, and related services). By creating an account or calling the API, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
CragData provides web crawling, scraping, and structured extraction via a REST API and customer dashboard. Features and limits depend on your plan (Free, Startup, or Enterprise). We may change features with reasonable notice where practical.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- Comply with applicable laws and third-party site terms
- Respect robots.txt and reasonable crawl rates
- Keep API keys confidential and revoke compromised keys promptly
- Not use the service for spam, credential stuffing, malware, or unauthorized access
You are responsible for how your applications use the API and for data you collect from third-party sites.
3. Accounts & billing
You must provide accurate account information. Paid plans are billed through Dodo Payments; subscriptions renew until canceled. Refunds are handled case by case. See the billing page for your current plan.
4. Availability & support
The API and dashboard are provided on an as-available basis unless you have a written SLA (Enterprise). We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support channels depend on your plan.
5. Data & privacy
Our handling of account and usage data is described in the privacy policy. You retain rights to data you submit; we process it to operate the service.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CragData and Crag Group are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose security risk.
